I have become a very big fan of telephone cord hair ties, as a very easy way to elevate a look, in just seconds. Made up of transparent telephone wire coils -- that some of you may remember from back when phones used to be wired to landlines, and the flexible and stretchy spiral cords allowed phone receivers to be carried longer distances from their base -- these phone wire hair bands work well as decorative coils for your hair. With lots of fake pearls and tiny fabric roses attached down their entire length to prettify them, and fitted with metal at both ends to help hook them onto your hair, and hold the cords in place in your hair, they can be stretched and wound around ponytails and braids, to add instant elegance.

I am pretty lazy and not very good with working with hair, so I love it when I find a hair accessory that gives me good hair with minimal effort. These telephone wire hair ties were a great find, as I see them as a great hair hack, to be able to make hair prettier with very little effort. All you need to be able to do is tie a simple ponytail or braid, hook the cord to the top of the ponytail or braid, and wrap it around your hair down its length, and voila -- a super-pretty feminine touch.
I've bought these telephone wire hair accessories in a lot of different styles, and I like these rose and pearl hair ties best, because I think that they are the prettiest. The small roses come in pink, peach, and white/cream -- very feminine and elegant colors -- and look very beautiful interspersed throughout the hair.
I like that the telephone style hair ties with white roses can match pretty much any color, which is why I have used the one with that color of roses the most.
I do have to warn that the roses are very delicate, and need to be handled with care. They are held on by glue, and I have had them fall off before, either of their own accord, or because I was not gentle with taking the cords out of my hair.
It's better to wrap the cord of the phone line hair tie around carefully, and unwrap it with equal care, to ensure that the roses don't get caught in your hair, where they could accidentally be pulled off. It's probably also better to put on the phone wire hair tie in front of a mirror, to allow you to better see the distance between the coils, and ensure that you don't miss wrapping any of the coils around your hair.
I usually can't be bothered to put my phone cord hair ties on in front of a mirror, because I'm usually in a rush, and so usually just put them on quickly, without looking, most of the time. However, this can result in some of the cord not being fully wrapped around the hair, with some of the spirals not being wrapped around it, or the hair tie not going down the full length of my hair, due to the spiral sections not being spaced out properly. I think that the telephone line hair ties can still look nice even when that does happen.
The look can get messy if you run, so I don't think that these spiral cord hair ties are good to wear if you're doing something athletic.
I recommend being careful about how you place it in your bag, if you decide to carry this particular style of telephone line hair tie around. I'm a bit reluctant to put this particular phone cord hair tie into my bag, and definitely won't place it in my pocket for travel, due to the delicate nature of the roses, that I'm scared will fall off if I'm too rough with handling them, or have the cords move around in my bag too much.
With certain styles of telephone cord hair ties, I feel okay with stuffing one in my bag and taking it out once I get to my destination, tying my hair into a braid, and wrapping my telephone cord hair tie around my hair at my destination, because these styles of phone cable hair bands don't have pieces that will fall off them easily, but I'd recommend being careful with this particular style of spiral telephone hair ties with roses, as I have even read reviews about some having arrived with detached roses.
If you're going for a pretty, girly look, then these rose and pearl hair tie accessories are great. While they may not be the best telephone cord hair ties available, due to the delicate nature of how the roses are attached, I think that they are one of the prettiest.
My favorite thing to do with these spiral telephone hair ties is to put my hair in a side braid, with two ponytail holders holding the braid together at the top and bottom. I find that this method holds the spiral phone cord hair ties in place better, and keeps the shape of the hair together better. I then like to hook the hooked part of the rose hair tie onto my ponytail holder, to make it extra secure, and then wrap it down the length of my braid, pulling on it a bit as I go, so that it stretches to be able to cover more of my hair length. If you don't space the coils out, then you'll definitely run out of coils before you reach the bottom of your braid.
If you don't secure the telephone hair bands properly at both ends, then they can tend to slip down throughout the day.
It's possible to use the spiral cord hair ties on a regular ponytail, for a bunched ponytail look that is also very pretty, but I prefer to braid my hair first, as I think that this helps keep the coils where you put them, although they can still slip in a braid, if you don't hook the ends onto your hair securely.
I haven't tried wearing one of these telephone cord hair bands in a regular braid or ponytail hanging down my back, as it is easier to put on when you put your hair to the side, and I also think that the side-braid look is very pretty, and that adding the coils, pearls, and roses makes it look even sweeter and prettier.
See below for images of the phone cord hair bands in a side braid, and in a back braid, taken from the Temu product page.

Because the telephone coils of each telephone hair band are transparent and have no color, they can match different outfits better, and also place the focus on the roses and pearls. I think that the small size of the roses is perfect, as I think that larger roses would look less elegant. The look that the rose and pearl phone cord hair band creates is subtle and soft, and draws attention without being loud.
That being said, while these phone cable hair ties can be used with an everyday outfit, they can't match every look, and can't be worn every day. The colors work with soft shades of pink and white, and light baby shades. They are nice to wear with dressier, semi-casual wear. I think that they would look weird to wear with a sporty outfit or tomboy look, as they fit feminine looks.
The roses are attached to the spiral phone cord hair ties with what appears to be dried hot glue, although other reviewers have said that they are attached with silicone. The pearls are fixed in place. I don't know why the roses couldn't also be fixed in place, as the pearls are durable, while the roses are undependable, and can quite easily fall off.
For the instantly-elegant look that they create, I still think that these spiral telephone hair ties are worth buying and wearing.
I have worn two of the three rose spiral telephone cord hair ties already (the pink one and the white one), and one of the roses have fallen off the white one.

Review:
(Note: The set I bought is unavailable for purchase now, so I have linked to a set that looks pretty much exactly the same, from a different seller, above.)
Pros:
-easy to use and put on
-very convenient to put on
-very elegant and feminine
-very pretty
-come in a set of three different colors, to help match with more outfits
-very affordable
-look great in ponytails and braids
-stretch enough to use with medium-long to long hair
-comfortable to wear
-have faux pearls and roses that pop in hair, and look very simple, yet lovely
-easy to carry -- small and lightweight enough to fit in bags for quick styling
-cord stretches and extends easily
Cons:
-too short for super-long hair, and won't cover the full length of super-long hair
-very delicate, and roses can fall off, but can be glued back on with a glue gun
-can take practice to put them on properly
-some can come poorly-made, based on reviews of other purchasers, though the ones I received were fine
-can slip down hair over time, but can be held more securely in place if you take care to hook the metal ends into your hair securely, and wear the telephone cord hair tie in a braid
-sometimes the hot glue attaching some of the roses onto the telephone cord can be seen, but I don't think that it is noticeable when you wear the hair ties
-stretches out over time
-can snag and get tangled in hair, and can take time to remove so as not to damage hair

Conclusion:
If you want to look and feel lovely with little effort, then these phone cord style hair ties are such a bargain way to get the job done. They are just so pretty, and I've gotten compliments when I've worn them out, even when just going for walks.
The fact that the roses can fall off is something that knocks off quite a few stars, since, while it is possible to reattach them, it can be a hassle to do so, especially if you don't have a glue gun already. I'm glad that the faux pearls are at least secure.
